 Prayer Chain Challenge

Materials Needed: 

• Construction paper cut into strips
• Tape or stapler
• Pens

Directions:

1. Distribute paper strips to each student (4-5/student)
2. Ask kids what prayer habits Daniel had before he was in the lion's den
1. Prayed 3 times a day (Daniel 6)
2. Prayed when he was in trouble (Daniel 2)
3. Praised God in prayer (Daniel 2)
3. Write those prayer habits down on paper strips (one per habit) and then form a chain
4. Have kids come up with prayer habits they can start now. 
5. Write those on the strips and add to the chain
6. Hang the chain in your room so you can see it for the rest of the quarter
